Chest and Back
You will need to invest in a chin up bar in order to do these exercises. The chest exercises consist of doing different push-ups. Basic, yet extremely effective.
The back exercises range from pull-ups and chin-ups, the same basic and clean techniques that are classic when it comes to workout routines.

Plyometrics (Jump Training)
Ready to test everything you got? Jump training is brutal and sweat drenching, putting the X in P90X! You will be in the air more than you are on the ground, increasing the strength of the heart, lungs, and muscles. Get ready for some killer sets!
Jump Squats - With your hands in the air, you will be jumping into the sky and coming back down in a squat position.
Airborn Heisman - Sound scary? You must go to “great heights” in order to get the body you want! This requires you to leap from side to side, bringing the knee up into the chest with each leap.
Squat Reach Jumps - The same as the jump squats except you are aiming for greater heights and more power.
Circle Run - You will place a towel in front of you and do circle runs around it. Prepare to run forward and backward, while leaping and crossing. A fun activity to get your heart pumping and your energy kicking!
Yoga X
Every vigorous workout routine should always include yoga. This routine concentrates on focusing, strengthening, and flexibility while working on breathing techniques. You will feel energized with clear and calmer mind.
Before any P90X workout routine, Tony will have you complete stretches to get your muscles and body ready for a high pumping workout. These stretches are super important, and should never be skipped. Injury of the tendons or muscles could result if you do! Always consult with your doctor before beginning any fitness routine.
