Try Tae Bo Workouts
Tae Bo has been around for quite a while now. The program was created by Billy Blanks in the 80's. People who have followed Billy's program since the beginning are still getting their money’s worth from the workout.
Billy Blanks, creator of Tae Bo, is a former Tae Kwon Do martial arts champion, brought together his martial art training and boxing to create the groundbreaking workout that is still a hit 20 years later. The workout has continued to evolve to promote fitness for everyone. I've been using the these videos for several years with great results! Not only does the kickboxing portion ramp up the heart rate, but the kicks and punches also build muscle and burn fat. It's a total body workout that is suitable for men, women, young and old. All workouts begin with a warm up and a stretch which is important before any exercise. Beginning workouts demonstrate the moves in slow motion and then in time with the music so that everyone can get used to moving their body in these ways. More advanced workouts follow when you master the beginning videos. Billy Blanks performs the moves with the class in each workout and talks the audience through each move, encouraging everyone to continue and not give up. He combines his own style of upbeat inspiration with his fitness expertise to get even the most exercise-phobic people off of the couch and moving. The most recent additions to the classic program: - Tae Bo Boot Camp. These Boot Camp DVDs are meant to combine resistance bands with cardio boxing moves to ramp up your fitness level. The routines are demonstrated slowly and then you move to a more advanced level for optimum fitness. You'll be glad you went to this boot camp!
- Tae Bo Amped. These series of routines use a weighted resistance bar to add weight to the workout for muscle building. Periods of intense cardio are mixed with kickboxing routines for increased fat burning. You'll really feel your muscles working with this one!
- Tae Bo T3 - Total Transformation Training. The latest DVD series is T3. Total Transformation Training. Each new series adds another component to the kickboxing moves to enhance fitness and keep the body constantly improving.
No two routines are alike and with this type of workout, you can alternate tapes and DVDs for an entire week of great workouts. You'll stay on track if you vary the routines. Try to perform a different workout five to seven days a week with a day or two off for rest. These workouts DVDs don't use professional fitness trainers, but real people, to demonstrate the workout. You'll see them sweat right along with you! Billy Blanks keeps the workouts fresh and motivating so that you'll continue on your program until you reach your fitness goals. If you have an event coming up and need to get in shape quick, this program is the way to go! I know how well they work, I've been using his videos for years and highly recommend them!
